Stamp Out Hunger with Citizens Inn — May 14, 2022

SPONSORSHIPDSC_0291

It’s with great excitement that we share with you that this year’s 30th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Due to the ongoing pandemic, Stamp Out Hunger hasn’t been able to occur since 2019!

This nation-wide drive, which has a large presence in Peabody, serves as Haven from Hunger’s largest food drive of the year. In 2019, over 25,000 pounds of food was collected and donated to our pantry through this event. Haven from Hunger receives all of its food – except a small portion of purchased dairy – from in-kind donations.

We ask that you consider sponsorship of this event. Make a difference in your community while gaining significant exposure for your business to over 30,000 people on social media, 2,000 people in our email database, and get your logo placed on our volunteer T-shirts for the day-of. Forms are due back by April 22nd.

VOLUNTEER

We need an army of volunteers to load/unload trucks, weigh, sort and check expiration dates. It’s going to be an amazing day where we bring in over 25,000 pounds of food.

Sign up with Rachel Leibowitz at (rleibowitz@citizensinn.org) to volunteer for a two-hour shift with us on Saturday, May 14th! We are looking for 80+ volunteers in 2-hour shifts from 12-8pm, to help sort food that comes in from the postal carriers at Haven. All volunteers can come to 71 Wallis Street in Peabody.

Shift times:
12:00PM – 2:00PM (Full)
2:00PM – 4:00PM
4:00PM – 6:00PM
6:00PM- 8:00PM
