Peabody Summer Eats
Citizens Inn Haven from Hunger is once again hosting the Peabody Summer Eats program this year. The program provides free meals to youth 18 and under during the summer months when children do not have access to school meals. The program aims to fill the nutrition gap between academic years for low-income kids, particularly those who rely on federal child nutrition programs during the school year.
Peabody Summer Eats officially kicks off on Monday, June 21st and runs through Thursday, August 26th. Each child, ages 2-18, will receive five lunches! Children do not to need to be present, lunches will be grab-and-go.
